Classes

 Not a class but a place and time to sit and stitch.

A time to finish those projects lurking in your bag or to start something new, a space to stitch and find inspiration. I will be there if you get stuck or need help with a new project. Or, just a day of gentle stitching with like minded people.

On the first Monday of each month, 10.00am - 4.30pm

2025 dates: September 1st, October 6th, November 3rd, December 1st

£15 for half a day, £30 for the whole day.

Space is limited so please let me know if you would like to come along.

Stitch a Month is starting again on June 3rd, at theyard:Artspace in Cheltenham, for anyone new to Stitch a Month or wanting more practice - once a month on a Monday morning 10.00am - 12.30pm. 

Back to basics - looking and experimenting with a new hand embroidery stitch each month. Suitable for beginners. Cost £18 (includes some basic materials)

June 3rd - Straight stitches

July 1st - French knots

August 5th - Blanket stitch

April 4th, May 9th, June 6th and July 4th, 2.00 - 4.30pm.

Starting with straight stitches and French Knots we will then explore a different hand stitch each month introducing different materials into the backgrounds and adding new pages to a fabric "Stitch Book".

Cost: £18 per month, payable in advance. This will include most materials but you will need to bring a basic sewing kit and some needles and threads.

STITCH A MONTH

at The Yard ARTspace, Cheltenham

Once a month on a Monday afternoon 2.00 - 4.30pm

Enjoy a few hours of hand stitching - each month exploring a different embroidery stitch and how to use it. Learn and practice the stitch using different threads to include in a fabric book of sample stitches or to work on a project of your own. Suitable for complete beginners and people looking for a little inspiration.
