Dandelion

I have been working on a group of embroideries inspired by a photograph of a dandelion head on my allotment. I have used a variety of threads and stitches for the seed heads with a collagraph background. This will be for sale as part of an exhibition in The Gardens Gallery, Montpellier Gardens during Cheltenham Open Studios 8th - 16th June 2019.

My Nest

Spring 2018 I was one of several invited by Sue Brown to take part in a creative challenge. We were given one of her signature gum arabic transfer prints of a bird’s nest on a piece of vintage linen. The challenge was to embellish it in our own way to create a piece of artwork. This will be in my workshop during Cheltenham Open Studios 2019, Venue 24.
